THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION OUTLINES AN OVERVIEW OF OUR PROGRAM

· PRIVATE AND/OR SEMI-PRIVATE TUTORING IN THE STUDENT’S HOME OR LIBRARY - SESSIONS ARE TYPICALLY 1:1 RATIO; CAN ACCOMMODATE RATIOS OF 8:1 CLASS SIZE

· Specific achievement goals/PLANS OF ACTION are INDIVIDUALLY CREATED for each student based on:

1 pre-assessment exam according to THE STUDENT’S grade level, WHICH allows us to adequately determine the weak areas of each student – usING the CRCT example test FROM THE GA. DOE

2 teacher recommendations (EVALUATION FORMS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE STUDENT’S TEACHERS AT THE SCHOOL).

· After analyzing the data AND INFORMATION, SAP's (STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT PLANS) are developed and are used to facilitate the student's tutorial program.

· CUSTOM EDUCATION PLAN AND SPECIFIC GOALS FOR READING, LANGUAGE ARTS AND MATH -ACHIEVEMENT PLANS ARE REVIEWED WITH THE PARENT. INCLUDING GOALS AND TIMETABLES FOR REACHING THOSE GOALS.

· PROGRESS REPORTS ARE PROVIDED BI-WEEKLY.

Ø BI-WEEKLY PROGRESS TIMELINES ARE FOLLOWED IN ORDER TO CREATE TO MOST OPPORTUNITY FOR SUCCESS. EACH STUDENT’S PLANS ARE RE-ASSESSED ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS USING THE 80% MASTERY MODEL WHILE CONSIDERING INITIAL GOALS AND TIMELINES FOR ACHIEVEMENT.

· FINAL REVIEW AND ANALYSIS INCLUDES COMPARISON OF STARTING (PRE-TEST) AND ENDING (POST-TEST) TESTING DATA USING CRCT TESTING AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

Ø BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE CONDUCTED ON ALL TUTORS WHICH INCLUDE SEARCHES USING: NATIONAL, STATE, SEXUAL OFFENDER (NATIONAL), AND SOCIAL SECURITY DATABASES.

Students attending the approved schools must be pre-qualified to participate in this program. Most students who qualify for either the free, or reduced, lunch during the school year will most likely qualify for this program.
